How to Specify Electronic Ballast Systems

The Electronic Ballast System (EBS) power supplies are designed by Nicollet Technologies to match the lamp specifications of our customers and can operate multiple lamps.

Please provide lamps specification including, but not limited to the following information   

•         Quantity of lamps and how are they connected in the circuit
•         Chemistry of each lamp (Mercury, Gallium, Iron…)
•         Total Lamp Power (KW)
•         Arc length for each lamp and watts/inch (mm)
•         Lamp rated Voltage & Current
•         Any unique lamp operating characteristics (strike voltage, unique shape or size, etc…)
•         Any unique operating characteristics regarding the application (ambient temperature, chemical emersion, nitrogen bath, etc...)

Nicollet power supplies designed to operate medium pressure, electrode type gas discharge lamps ONLY. We can operate this class of UV lamps up to 40 KW level.
